Get Your Oven Cooking Evenly Again

Have you noticed that your convection oven doesn’t cook foods as evenly as it once did? This can be frustrating when you pull out a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread or some blueberry muffins and they look perfectly cooked on the outside but are still doughy on the inside. The good news is that there may be a simple solution to this annoying problem.

If you do a lot of roasting, baking, and broiling, your convection filter probably just needs a thorough cleaning because grease particles are stuck to it causing a blockage in airflow. Simply wash the filter that’s in the back of the oven with hot, soapy water or run it through the dishwasher. If it looks heavily soiled, you may want to use a degreaser to clean it.
